Friday, August 31st will be Career Dress Up Day for Kindergarten. You do not need to buy a costume unless you make that choice. Please help you child think of a career that interest them and find an accessory or two to explain the job they selected. Friday, August 31st is also Grandparents Breakfast Day. Again we look forward to having many family members visit Addison.

Please check in your purple folders on Monday, as you should find the Reading Eggs and Raz Kids passwords needed to complete Tuesday's technology homework. On Monday, we will have a Guidance lesson with Mrs. Waite. Friday morning will be our first FBI (Fathers Being Involved) breakfast. We look forward to seeing lots of Dads and family members visiting that day.

Thank you everyone who attended Open House. I hope you gained some useful information. Monday, August 13th will be a very exciting day for our class. Firefighters are visiting our students to teach about fire safety, and we will also visit the Science Lab for the first time. Remember to look for those Homework Notebooks on Monday night as Kindergarten homework begins. Let's have a wonderful week.

We have had a great beginning of Kindergarten these last three days. We are getting to know each other and learn about Addison's rules and routines. We actually got outside in the sunshine for a few minutes today. It was wonderful. In the purple folder today you will find Mrs. Hallmark's Calendar of events for August.
